Maryland Route 136 is a 30-mile long state route located entirely within Harford County, Maryland. It is Maryland's second longest state route located entirely within one county. The only intracounty state route in Maryland that is longer than Route 136 is Maryland Route 235, a 30.75-mile long road located entirely within Saint Mary's County. Like several other state routes in Harford County, Route 136 connects the northern part of the county to the southern part. It goes from the town of Norrisville in the northwestern part of Harford County to Creswell in the southeastern part of the county.
