Long March 2C

Long March 2C (CZ-2C) was a derivative of the Long March 2 rocket family, an expendable launch system operated by the People's Republic of China. This vehicle was developed by the China Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology, and the first launch occurred on November 26, 1975. It was a two-stage launch vehicle with storable propellants, consisting of Nitrogen Tetroxide and Unsymmetrical Dimethyl Hydrazine. The vehicle was derived from the DF-5 ICBM, FB-1 launch vehicle.
Several variants of this launch vehicle have been built:
- 2C/SD — Commercial satellite launcher.
- 2C/SD — Smart dispenser allows delivery of two satellites simultaneously.
- 2C/SM — Improved version.
