Re your question a while ago on Wikipedia:New Zealand Wikipedians' notice board about these, there is also a huge list of iwi and hapū at Iwi-Hapū Names List maintained by The National library. The narrower terms under each iwi are the hapū, or under each waka, the iwi of that waka. I think there are something like 1500 names in all Kahuroa 07:38, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

Please feel free to assign yourself tasks from the list of unassigned tasks at Wikipedia:Cleanup Taskforce. Arranging assignments is too much work for me to do by myself. As I have already started work with Simmaren on Jane Austen and I hope to expand that work to articles on her novels, I would be happy to join. I am more of an eighteenth-century person myself, but I would be happy to provide research assistance, copies of articles from databases, peer reviews, and copy edits for others. I must say that tackling the novelists listed in the proposal scares the Dickens out of me. :) There is so much scholarship written on each one of their novels... However, a project of people dedicated to improving these articles should make the process of writing them much easier - it will spread the work around. Awadewit | talk 03:19, 29 January 2008 (UTC)

I see your point, I was just trying to bring the box back to my vision for it and the way it is most useful to me. What exactly are you proposing? to reinstate the five or so months? if you feel this works better, maybe it should be that way.

You seem to be the most recent contributor to the Middlemarch article, on which progress seems to have stalled. Do you know if there are any definite plans for the development of this article, with active editors involved? I have a few ideas of my own, but I don't want to cut across any existing plans which are still afloat. Brianboulton (talk) 12:33, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

• I would love to help out with Middlemarch, but right now I'm in the middle of writing two articles plus my dissertation prospectus. I think I'll have more time starting in July. I know that's a few months off, but I'll try to help out when I can. Perhaps I'll throw together a plot summary for a couple of books in the next week or two. Thanks for the correction Liveste! I have listed the Netball-stub template at the WP:WSS/P (which I discovered 10 minutes after creating it!), and it seems to be getting support there. I hope both of you will indicate support for a project at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Council/Proposals#Netball.

Somehow I think the biggest job will be getting articles sourced. Rugby and cricket are so lucky with their detailed stats websites.

I've started building a project page behind the scenes at User:Dramatic/Netball, and will work on some of the sub-templates and a project banner this weekend. Feel free to suggest any components you like from other projects!
