After a time, a tipsy Izzie grew suspicious of such a long bath, she raced upstairs to find Lorna on her bed, nearly unconscious from an overdose of sleeping pills. Roger Aspinall Nick Sidi Chair of the Governors (prev. Sponsor) 2x01–2x12
2007
Roger left Waterloo Road after Jack decided to pull the plug on the new Academy after discovering Jerry and Roger's plans.
Jerry Preston Paul Birchard Sponsor 2x11–2x12
2007
Was chucked out after his extreme religious views influenced pupils, even to the point of some burning books from the library, proclaiming them "devilish." Preston later took the chance at Lorna's memorial service to say that she gave up because her faith was weak, Mr Treneman disagreed strongly and debated with Preston in front of all the students and teachers. Preston also demanded the sacking of Davina because of her brief encounter with Brett. Jack went along with it for a while, but eventually reinstated Davina and told Roger and Preston where to go.
Lyndsey Woodham Michelle Holmes Headmistress (prev. Headship candidate) 2x09
2007
Competed against Jack for the headship role and won the boards vote, but resigned from the position when an angry pupil, who was being picked on for wetting his pants (he really had over-active bladder syndrome) rushed into the hallway to attack Mr Rimmer and pushed Ms Woodham out of the way. Woodham resigned within minutes of her appointment as headmistress – she knew she could talk the talk, but also that she couldn't walk the walk.
Russell Millen Stuart Graham Student teacher (prev. PC) 2x07
