[edit] Quality?

Does someone from the "all schools should have articles" crowd care to keep an eye on this? Friday (talk) 16:03, 14 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Peer review

The thing this article needs most is more references. Four is not enough for an article this size. --Kmsiever 13:54, 23 February 2007 (UTC)

Finding references for this article is hard, especially without seeking documents produced by the school itself. PhoenixTwo 18:22, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
I don't doubt it. But having only four references for an article this size makes it appear like it is mostly original research at best and unverifiable claims at worst. As I said, that alone will likely be the most important thing to improve this article. Take a look at the Plano high school you used as an example. --Kmsiever 18:53, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for having a look at it. PhoenixTwo 20:15, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
FYI, you may find WP:CITET useful. --Kmsiever 03:30, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] GA hold

Not bad, but there are several paragraphs with no ref at all. Rlevse 18:19, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

Per WP:WIAGA: Unambiguous citations of reliable sources are necessary for any material that is challenged or likely to be challenged. Indicating to me that it is acceptable to have unreferenced areas, as long as they do not contain statements which are likely to be challenged. If there are any individual statements for which you would like a citation let me know; having said that, acquiring references not produced by the school itself has been difficult. PhoenixTwo 19:58, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
WP:WIAGA also says an article that is factually accurate and verifiable "contains no elements of original research." Without any references, it is difficult to establish whether a statement is original research or not. If you live in Lethbridge, have you tried the the local library to check past issue of the Lethbridge Herald for example? Not all sources need be online. --Kmsiever 21:57, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
It is indeed not feasible for me to obtain any kind of physical source, at least any time soon. I was trying to get at the fact that there are hundreds of current good articles that lack inline citations in their entirety, so I'm not sure why this article is held to what appears to be a higher standard. Several more statements are attributable to existing sources, but I don't see them as statements that need to be cited. PhoenixTwo 22:42, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
Standards evolve over time and many articles are losing GA status for lack of refs. See WP:GA/R.Rlevse 09:54, 16 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Sources

With the page ready for a final proofread, my only concern is that some sources need to be verified.--Kenneth M Burke 23:29, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
