Dahliarose was born in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, and currently lives in the historic Royal County of Berkshire. She worked as an editorial manager for a publishing company in London before leaving work to raise her two children. She now works as a freelance copy-editor and proofreader. She made her first contribution to Wikipedia on 25 October 2006.
