[edit] Early life and career

Kat mainly grew up in Whitchurch, Shropshire. After moving to London, her TV career started on price-drop tv as an auction assistant, where she introduced upcoming products and modelled products such as jewellery, but left in March 2006 for a more important role as a host on the quiz channel BIG Game TV!. She was soon spotted by the ITV Play team, and then presented The Daily Quiz! on Men & Motors. She was later given the job of being one of the presenters on The Mint on ITV1. Kat also presented Extra Mint, an early evening version of the main programme.

In October 2006 ITV launched Playdate, a new late-night dating show, with Kat taking the role as one of the main presenters. However, by December 2006 Playdate was cancelled due to small viewing figures, and so Kat returned to The Mint.

The vast majority of promotional images for The Mint have Kat pictured with co-presenter Brian Dowling. Kat was also part of the first show to give away the jackpot of the Mint vault. Kat presented with Brian Dowling and Craig Stevens when the jackpot of over £108,000 was won on the night 12 May 2006.

Whilst presenting The Mint Kat became very good friends with co-presenter Brian Dowling and is often seen out with him.[citation needed]

Kat appeared in a photoshoot for the September 2006 issue of the popular men's magazine, MAXIM.

Kat will be presenting the Daily Show podcast (www.theshow.com) online during the weekends. [1]

On 12 March 2007 Kat continued her radio career on London's Capital Radio where she was heard on an evening show with former Kiss 100 Breakfast Show host, Bam Bam.

Kat can currently be seen hosting The Hub, a show about video games, on the Esport.tv website.
