Thanks so much, dear Piotrus, for letting the English readers of English WP know what Matulaitis' name would be in Polish. I'm sure the whole gang would be delighted that you did this. And I know you felt it necessary for the most academic reasons, and also to further the spirit of cooperation and to stop further animosity between Lithuanian and Polish editors. Naturally the link in the Polish language (in other languages) was insufficient for that purpose. How about it, can the Prokonsul get a round of applause? Dr. Dan 23:39, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

I'd think so - after all I added the name which is several times as popular ([1] vs [2]) - or several-teens (I miss kilkanaście in English ;p): [3] vs [4]. And thank you for tha applouse, Dear Dan, I feel motivated do do so much more now. How about you - feeling up to writing an article? Thanks again for your efforts. Many of your contributions to the project are very worthwhile. Me, I'm pretty busy in my real life work helping people, and can only do a little here and there. Dr Dan, what do you mean by a gang? Do you mean the usual crowd of Poland-bashers? A group of users, browsing the Wikipedia Poland-related pages and changing their contents? Somehow, wherever I go, I see same persons, Dr Dan included. Tymek (talk) 20:01, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

"Poland bashers"? As for, gang, please don't always look at the dark side of things. Think of the delightful song, Hail. Or a non-negative connation for the word gang, like "a group of people with compatible tastes or mutual interests who gather together for social reasons: I'm throwing a party for the gang I bowl with". As for guest appearances, you seem to make the rounds quite a bit yourself, Tymek. I completely understand your need to want to give our English readers the information concerning Lithuanian personalities; as to what their names are in the Polish language. And to non-Lithuanian personalities like Jerzy Waszyngton as well. Somehow Polish links seem insufficient for you. In any case you seem to resist any "equal time" to adding Lithuanian versions to many personalities like him, who clearly stem from Lithuanian origins. Dr. Dan (talk) 17:01, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
