Iowa-State-University-sports-logo.png

In the Fall of 2008 the Iowa State Cyclones will compete in new colors and the University as a whole will take on a new logo with the use of Cardinal and Gold as the sole school colors. The current school logo, which incorporates the school mascot “CY” will be replaced by a single “I” with “State” across the front of it. The Iowa State University Track and Field team will unite both the Men’s and Women’s competition uniforms through the teams sponsor to compete in solid Cardinal and Gold in all competitions. This will be part of the transition of combining both the Men’s and Women’s programs as one.
