[edit] Twenty20 in India

I remember reading before that the BCCI claimed that one of the reasons they weren't going to have cricket in the Commonwealth games was because Twenty20 was popular in India. From Twenty20, it's interesting to note that a domestic championship was only introduced in 2007 & India's Twenty20 international debut was December 2006. It also remarks that is has had limited success in India. Is this still true? If so, it will be interesting to see how this goes Nil Einne 10:15, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

The section on India's poor performances certainly does not meet WP standards.... needs to be cleaned up

Well, I am not sure what is that needs to be cleaned up and in what respect the facts stated in the section are 'unNeutral'. The section "India's poor performance in recent years" tries to explain one of the reasons for creation of ICL. One of the factors working there was poor performance of the Indian cricket team. That created an opening for a rebel league to easily gain credibility and support of public by promising to work for the development of cricketing talent. Please mention what you found objectionable.

This article is growing too large and is also quite badly out of date. The team rosters section is pointless is as there are team pages for each franchise which list the players (although most are out of date), perhaps a little summary of each team (coach/star players) and a link to the team's own article would be sufficient. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Frobishero (talk • contribs) 17:32, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
