Huw Bennett (born 11 June 1983 in Ebbw Vale) is a Welsh rugby union footballer, who currently plays for the Ospreys in the Celtic League and the Heineken Cup. He has been capped 18 times for Wales. His usual position is at hooker.
Bennett represented Wales at both under-19 and under-21 level. He made his debut for Wales against Ireland in 2003, and was included in the squad for the 2003 Rugby World Cup in Australia. He played in the games against Canada and Tonga. In 2004 he played against Scotland and France in the 2004 Six Nations Championship. He was also named in the squad for the 2004 tour to Argentina and South Africa and made his first international start in the second Test against Argentina. Bennett was included in the squad for the 2008 Six Nations Championship and started in Wales's first two games, against England and Scotland.
