Alun Wyn Jones (born 19 September 1985) is a Welsh rugby union footballer, currently playing for the Ospreys in the Celtic League. He has also played for the Welsh national team, having previously represented Wales at under-21 level. He made his Test debut for Wales in June 2006 against Argentina. Originally playing as a blindside flanker, he has shown himself to be more than capable in the second row. It was as a lock that he featured, and excelled, in Wales' 2007 Six Nations campaign.In 2008,he was part of Wales grand slam winnig team in the six nations tournament.
Jones is also currently studying part time for a degree in law at Swansea University.[1]
