"Hoy" (Today) was the second single released by Gloria Estefan on her tenth studio album Unwrapped. This single become in one of the most successful Spanish singles on her entire career, making itself a complete success on the charts, the song topped the charts on U.S. Hot Latin Tracks, also have topped on 5 more countries, all Latin-American. In Argentina, "Hoy" was number one for one week. [1]. The lyrics were written by Gianmarco Zignago. Gianmarco Zignago dedicated this song to his native Peru^{[citation needed]}

The song was performed with a salsa mode Gloria's 2004 Tour "Live & Re-Wrapped".

The song is sung completely in Spanish and on English means "Today", the last Gloria single "Wrapped" is the English Edition of the song. Due to translation discrepancies some listeners may be exposed to a loss of translation and thus loss of the meaning of the song from Spanish to English.

"Hoy" was a winner of a International Latin Billboard Music Awards for "Top Pop Airplay Track-Female of the Year" and was also nominated for a "Top Tropical Airplay Track of the Year".

The music video recorded for the song is the same of the English version of the song "Wrapped", but on this edition the only difference is that is in Spanish. The video was shot on Machu Picchu. Gloria is show as an explorer on the video.
