[edit] your tag

you should probably put a little tag on User:Hexagon1/Imagfriend saying that using it is a bad idea, since according to consensus it makes you inappropriate admin material. Ironholds 21:01, 9 June 2008 (UTC)‎

Thanks for the vote. As CultureDrone so eloquently said, it seems to be a case of people worrying that people might be offended in the future rather than looking at what i've done in the past. What i really don't understand is the the MfD for said userbox clarified (with massive consensus) that it is an acceptable part of the page and yet they still opposed. Ironholds 04:08, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
You dont have to apologise, i'd probably be loosing it anyway. What I love is promtheus opposing it on the grounds that he finds it offensive as an anglican, which should by this logic send people scrambling at his RfA going "ooh, he has personal OPINIONS! help, police!". Not having this userbox would not change what I think in any way, simply mean that they aren't displayed. I displayed it because I found it humourous (props to you, btw) not because I was religion-bashing. I dont know where WP:AGF got lost along the way with these people. Ironholds 04:26, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
Thanks :). I've been thinking of maybe closing the RfA; I need 66% upwards support, and i've got it the other way around, but i think i'll now leave it just to prove a point and turn the whole "you'd be a bad admin because you have an opinion" thing into a talking point. Ironholds 05:10, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
"If there is one person who has irreparably damaged their reputation here, it is you. By not removing the userbox when things got heated Ironholds has proven himself as an reliable and honest user, and together with his editing record he would make a brilliant administrator.". Thanks dude :). At this point removing it would change nothing, and i'm not going to kowtow to pressure. Removing it wouldn't change how i personally fail and i'd rather wear my heart on my sleeve, especially on the internet, a realm where people can hide or restrict anything they want. Ironholds 11:23, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
Will do. This hasn't stopped me wanting to become an admin, merely made me more determined so i can oppose the "gahh, its politically incorrect! burn it! burn the heresy!" viewpoint with a little more weight. Ironholds 11:36, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image:First Czechoslovak Republic.SVG - fixed?

fixed?
fixed?

Hey, firstly I just want to thank you. I had a feeling I had made mistakes, but no one seemed to notice anything. I don't actually have a good map of interwar europe to work with. Second, I made some improvements, please let me know if they're right before I fix the second one. I know there are a couple changes on the slovak-polish border as well, but I don't have a good map of them, so I can't include them. - TheMightyQuill (talk) 14:25, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
