The Herman Uihlein Mansion, also known as The Grant C. Beutner House, is located at 5270 North Lake Drive in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin. The mansion, circa 1917-1919, is a tribute to European opulence. The structure dates to the early 1900s and the beer barons of Schlitz Brewing Company. Thelimestone Italian Renaissance exterior contains stunning living areas, grand staircases and lakefront views. Three years of museum quality restoration from sub-basement to rooftop, have made "the pride and joy of Milwaukee."[citation needed]
The home is currently for sale with an asking price of 11.9 million dollars.[2]
