The Grand Prix de Paris is a Group 1 flat horse race in France. First run in 1863, it is one of the country's four Classic races. Organized by France Galop and currently sponsored by Juddmonte Farms, the event is for three-year-old thoroughbred colts and fillies run on grass over a distance of 2,400 metres (approximately 1½ miles) at Longchamp Racecourse in mid July.

In 2005 the date of the race was changed slightly, having previously been in late June. Since inception, the race has been run at various distances:

• 3000 meters : 1863-1952, 1982-1986
• 3100 meters : 1953-1981
• 2000 meters : 1987-2004
• 2400 meters : 2005 - present

• Only Le Pacha in 1941 and Peintre Celebre in 1997 have won the Grand Prix de Paris, the Prix du Jockey Club, and the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, the three races that since 1920 make up all of the French Classic Races open to colts.

• The race as well as the Longchamp track record for 2,400 metres is 2:24.30 and was set by Scorpion in 2005.
