Coordinates: 'Gaurella' is a town and a nagar panchayat in Bilaspur district in the state of Chhattisgarh, India.
Gaurella is known as Pendraroad also. Pendra road is a Railway station at Bilaspur Katni Rly route of south eastern central railway,Pendraroad is only 101 K.M. from Zonel H.Q. Bilaspur and 123 k.m. from Bilaspur by road,nearest airport is Raipur C.G. twin town Pendra is only 8 k.m. from railway station.holy TIRTH Amarkantak,(which is origin of Holy river Narmada, Son & Juhila.) is only 28 k.m. from railway station Pendra road. Jwaleshwar mahadev is a well known Tirth of Shiv and it is only 20 k.m. from Pendraroad on the way to Amarkantak. Tirth yatri (Pilgrims) from all over India visit here specially in the month of Shrawan. It is faith of all Hindu that Jwaleshwar mahadev is swayambhu shivling. Jwaleshwar mahadev is in Pendraroad Block of Chhattisgarh. Pendraroad is all weather reacheble. Many Dharmshala, Lodges.Hotels.and restaurent are easily available at Pendraroad and amarkantal. hight from sea level of Pendraroad is 618.4 mtrs, and climate of Gaurella is very good. now let me describe the world gaurela, it is made by gau+rela:- (crowd of cows). Vishnu Bhog rice and shashadhoney are very tasty and popular products of this area. As of 2001 India census[1], Gaurella had a population of 15,173. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Gaurella has an average literacy rate of 72%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 79%, and female literacy is 64%. In Gaurella, 13% of the population is under 6 years of age.
