Gallenkirch is a municipality in the district of Brugg in canton of Aargau in Switzerland.
Gallenkirch is five kilometres from downtown Brugg, the district seat. Between 1850 and 1980, the total population sank 40% near the 1700s level. The population in the mid-1990s went back to a level in 1850. 95.9% of the population speak German. The density is 92/km². The municipality is bounded with Unterbözberg in the northeast, Linn to the south and Effingen to the northeast. Gallenkirchen was first mentioned in January 28, 1338.
Gallenkirch has a school, a middle school. The secondary school is in Unterbözberg. The district school is in Brugg.
