FOX Television was one of the five television networks in Serbia who won the national broadcasting license at Public Tender organized by Republic Broadcasting Agency in 2006.
FOX Television started broadcasting in October 2006, and on December 31st 2006 it started with news program. Soon after, program was enriched with many news, sports and entertainment shows, as well as films and series.
After more then a year, FOX Television managed to attract a large portion of Serbian audience, with high quality and diverse programming and shows with different views on life, fun and television. It is currently the forth most popular television station in Serbia.
News program is dominated by all the current issues, which interest viewers in all parts of Serbia. Reliable, quality and objective reporting, without commenting, tutoring or cheering is the core of FOX Television's news program.
Live covering of top sporting events, Spanish Premiere League, NLB Basketball League and other, became the recognizable stamp of FOX Television sports program, which received a large number of positive reactions.
With several shows, FOX Television managed to introduce a new concept of daily and late night program to the Serbian media scene. Today, the name FOX Television is linked to late night cabaret show with actor Lane Gutovic "The Oral Era" (Serbian title: Oralno doba), which airs on working days; to themed movie nights, with hit movie series James Bond, Indiana Jones, and to TV game show Fort Boyard
In the fall of 2008, FOX Television will begin to broadcast spectacular reality show Survivor.
