[edit] School Schedule
The school schedule was changed for the 2006-2007 school year, and now contains 4 periods each day. The periods rotates between "A" and "B" days and alternates period numbers, creating "A2" and "B2" days. Thus ensuring that lunch groupings and the daily sequence varies. As of 2007 the school day begins at 7:30 and ends at 2:00, with each class meeting for approximately 80 minutes, and including a 6 minute class change in between classes. There are 4 different lunches occurring during the 3rd period of each day, each lasting for 28 minutes.
[edit] History
Construction on Fallston High School was completed and the school was opened to students in November 1977. The school was built to accommodate the expanding population in this area of once-rural Harford County. The majority of the original Fallston students came from Bel Air High School. The ground on which the school is built was formerly a dairy farm. Initially the school was a combined Middle/High School but converted to being exclusively a High School with the completion of Fallston Middle School on an adjacent piece of property. Fallston High School was visited by President Reagan during his term as president on December 4th, 1985.
