How do you use it?
Possible alternatives? Template:Edittemplate, Template:Edt, Template:Edit?
If used from other templates, this sometimes formats badly, with the closing square bracket landing on the next line. I used non-breaking spaces to no avail. Can we not get rid of the brackets altogether? JFW | T@lk 14:38, 19 Dec 2004 (UTC)
When getting a printable view, the 'edit' links don't appear on each section. Is there a way to do that with this, so that the 'edit' link won't appear on the printable view? There's a CSS tag for it, set up in the stylesheets, I'd think---like the tag that makes external URLs print on paper but not on the screen. grendel|khan 04:51, 2004 Dec 28 (UTC)

It seems a bit strange that the edit link has the same icon as external links (
). It could be removed by adding style="background-image:none; padding-right:0" to the link code (which consequently would have to be an old-fashioned, non-wiki-styled <a> tag). --Fred Bradstadt 21:25, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
