Edgar fullname Edgar Patricio de Carvalho Pacheco (born 7 August 1977 in Luanda) is an Angolan-Portuguese football (soccer) striker. Currently plays for Boavista F.C. in Portuguese Liga.
He started his career at Estoril (1992-93), He then played for Vitoria Setubal (1993-94), SL Benfica (1995-98) and Real Madrid (1998-99). He signed by Málaga CF in 1999 and only left the club on loan in 2nd half of 02/03 season to Getafe CF.
He played for Portugal national football team in international level, only a cap against Mozambique on 19 August 1998.
His application of represent Angola was rejected on December 2004, because he was already capped for Portugal in senior level.[1]
