"Don't Wanna Lose You" is a song written and recorded by Gloria Estefan. It was released in 1989 as the first single from the album Cuts Both Ways and reached number one in the U.S., where it became her second number-one single on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. The single was certified Gold.

The song, is an adult contemporary soft-pop song. It was the first solo number-one single for Estefan, her last number-one single "Anything for You" was performed with Miami Sound Machine on their 1987 Let It Loose album.

The song earned a nomination to the Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, but lost against Bonnie Raitt's "Nick of Time". It also received a nomination to an American Music Award for Favorite Pop/Rock Single but again, lost, but this time against Milli Vanilli's eventually bogus "Girl I'm Gonna Miss You".

Estefan also recorded "Si voy a perderte"; which is the Spanish version of this song. "Si voy a perderte" hit number one on Billboard's Hot Latin Tracks chart. "Se Tenho que perder" is the Portuguese version of this song, and was released as a single in Brazil.
