Danny "The Assassin" Abbadi (born July 3, 1983) is an American Taekwondo practitioner and professional mixed martial arts fighter. He was a contestant on the third season of The Ultimate Fighter reality television show, training under Tito Ortiz.[1]
Abbadi was born in Amman, Jordan and moved to Brooklyn, New York at age two.[2] He started training in taekwondo at age three, and began teaching it at twelve.[2]
On The Ultimate Fighter, his elimination occurred when he lost a preliminary fight against Ed Herman by armbar in the first round; after this loss, he started training at Victory Martial Arts in Orlando.[2] After that, he lost his professional debut by submission to Kalib Starnes,[3] and a midcard pay-per-view match via unanimous decision against Jorge Gurgel.[4] On January 20, 2007, he fought in the kickboxing league World Combat League as an alternate with the Los Angeles Stars.[5]
