This is a diagram showing the location of an element in the wide version of the periodic table along with some other data. The different colors symbolize the different chemical series of the periodic table.
The box-like diagram to the far left is the element's crystal structure. The circle or set of concentric circles in the middle represents the number of shells the element has and hence the period it falls under in the periodic table (one circle means it is a period 1 element, five concentric circles means it is a period 5 element, etc.).
The letters near the middle are the element's symbol. If there are dots around that, then the symbol with the dots is the Lewis structure for that element. The number by the P on the right side of the table is the number of protons an element has. The number by the N is the average number of neutrons.
