CBS Daytime (CBSD) is a television programming block on CBS. CBSD's Senior Vice President is Barbara Bloom, its Vice President is Richard Mensing. Bloom reports to Nina Tassler, who in turn reports to Nancy Tellem, and Tellem's boss is Les Moonves. Lucy Johnson served as President of CDS-D from 1989 - 2003.

Its main competitors are ABC Daytime and NBC Daytime.

Judy Tate is an American television writer and playwright. Her credits include Another World (Script Writer, 1999), As The World Turns (Script Writer: 2000 - March 15, 2006; March 27, 2007 - October 15, 2007; Breakdown Writer: March 20, 2006 - March 26, 2007), and Days Of Our Lives (Breakdown Writer: November 12, 2007 - January 24, 2008). She has been nominated for 6 Daytime Emmys (won four times) and 2 WGA Awards. Her first Emmy win in 2001 was shared with Hogan Sheffer, Leah Laiman, Carolyn Culliton, Stephen Demorest, Hal Corley, Stephanie Braxton, Jeff Beldner, Tom Casiello, Susan Dansby, Judith Donato, Lynn Martin, Richard J. Peter Frisch is an American television/theatre director, playwright and producer. He has directed over 100 productions at the amateur, academic and professional level and has held faculty posts at the Juilliard School, Carnegie Mellon University (head of the School of Drama), Harvard University, Boston University, Georgetown University and UCLA. He has been Producing Director of the Hyde Park Festival Theatre, Resident Director with the Berkshire Theatre Festival and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra (a 7 year tenure), and Artistic Director of American Playwrights Theatre in Washington, D.C..

In 2002, Frisch was hired by CBS Daytime to be a producer on The Young And The Restless. He was also a producer on Tribes. Currently, he is the Executive Director of The Granada Theatre Restoration Project. [22] Frisch is a member of the Dramatists Guild, Producers Guild of America, Directors Guild of America, and the Writers Guild of America.

Frank Pacelli is an American television director. He has worked on The Young & The Restless (1984-1997), The Bold And The Beautiful) (1991-1992), Return To Peyton Place and Days of Our Lives (1978-1981). He has been nominated for 13 Daytime Emmys (DE) and a single DGA Award. His first DE nomination was shared with Al Rabbin and Joseph Behar.

She has been nominated for 6 Daytime Emmys and 5 WGA Awards.

Nancy Bradley Wiard is an American television producer. As Senior Coordinating Producer of Y&R, she was in charge of publicity meetings, providing schedule information to the writers, dealing with the press, and labor contracts.

At age 21, Wiard moved back to L.A., and started in the Personnel department at CBS Daytime as a secretary. In 1978, Wiard joined Y&R as an Associate Producer, a post she would hold until 1981. In 1989, she was appointed to Coordinating Producer, and in 1999 promoted to Senior Coordinating Producer.

In 2001, David Shaughnessy named her producer, reporting directly to him. Wiard focused on management issues, while fellow producer Kathryn Foster supervised taping in the control booth.
