José Carlos Nepomuceno Mozer, usually known as Carlos Mozer or simply Mozer (born on 19 September 1960 in Rio de Janeiro) is a former football central defender and current coach in Angola of Afro-Brazilian descent. Mozer played for SL Benfica, among other clubs. While defending for Flamengo, he won the Copa Libertadores de América and the Intercontinental Cup in 1981. He played at the 1990 FIFA World Cup. On 24 October 2006 Mozer signed a two-year contract to coach the Angolan football club Interclube.[1]
