Carl "The Grey Fox" Snavely (July 30, 1894 to July 12, 1975) was a college football coach. From 1927 to 1933, he served as the head football coach at Bucknell, where he compiled a 42-16-8 record. From 1934 to 1935, and from 1945 to 1952, he served as the head football coach at North Carolina, where he compiled a 59-35-5 record. From 1936 to 1944, he served as the head football coach at Cornell, where he compiled a 46-26-3 record. He is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame
