Coordinates: Bisauli is a city and a municipal board in Badaun district in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. Bisauli's old name was Bansauri and Dude Khan was the Last Nabab of Bisauli.

Bisauli is located at .[1] It has an average elevation of 182 metres (597 feet).

As of 2001 India census,[2] Bisauli had a population of 28,420. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Bisauli has an average literacy rate of 49%, lower than the national average of 59.5%; with male literacy of 55% and female literacy of 42%. 19% of the population is under 6 years of age.

In the Uttar Pradesh state assembly elections, 2007, Umlesh Yadav, wife of the mafia don criminal-politician D. P. Yadav[3], was elected from Bisauli to the state legislature. She defeated the incumbent Samajwadi Party legislator Yogendra Kumar Garg alias Kunnu Babu with a margin of 13,400 votes (10%)[4].

Prof RamGopal Yadav, brother of Mr Mulayam Singh Yadav is the member of the parliyament from the constituency called "SAMBHAL". Bisauli falls in the same constituency.Earlier Mr Mulayam Singh Yadav himself was ths the MP from here.Mr Ashok Kumar Varshney is the chairman of the municipal corporation and earlier his wife Mrs Kamlesh Varshney was the chairperson.He defeted mr Abrar Ahamad with a margin of just 180 votes.Now Mr Ashok Kumar Varshney is not the chairperson of municipal corporation.He had suspended from his postion because he did many frauds in his tenure.
