Coordinates: Bhind (Hindi-भिंड) is a city and a municipality in Bhind district in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. It is in the Chambal region of Madhya Pradesh state in central India. It is named after the mythological Hindu saint Vibhandak Rishi or Bhindi Rishi.

Bhind is located at [1]. It has an average elevation of 143 metres (469 feet).
Bhind district is surrounded by Datia District(M.P.), Gwalior District(M.P.), Etawah District (U.P.) and Jalaun District (U.P.). The main activity of the people is Agriculture. Mustard and wheat are main crops of this district. Malanpur is the industrial area. Current Mayor & chairman of kv Bhind is Subham Badal.

As of 2001 India census[2], Bhind had a population of 153,768. Males constitute 54% of the population and females 46%. Bhind has high literacy rate of 89%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with male literacy of 76% and female literacy of 60%. 15% of the population is under 6 years of age.
