Palatine Stephen of Hungary and Archduchess Hermine of Austria
Palatine Stephen of Hungary or Archduke Stephen Francis Victor of Austria (Austrian: Stefan Franz Viktor) (14 September 1817 Budapest, Hungary - 19 February 1867 Vienna, Austria )
Archduke Stephen was the son of Archduke Joseph, Palatine of Hungary and Hermine Prinzessin von Anhalt-Bernburg-Schaumburg-Hoym . He was a member of the House of Habsburg-Lorraine. His mother died shortly after birthing him and his twin sister, Archduchess Hermine Amalie Marie (14 September 1817 - 13 February 1842 ).
He gained the rank of Lieutenant Field Marshal in the service of the Austrian Army.
He was the last Count Palatine of Hungary, from 12 November 1847 and 26 September 1848 .
He died unmarried and without issue.
