Al Baxter (born January 21, 1977) is an Australian rugby union player and is one of the current Wallaby props. He has been a fixture of the team since the 2003 Rugby World Cup and also plays for the Waratahs in the Super 14. His Wallaby debut was against the All Blacks during the 2003 Bledisloe Cup.
He recently earned his 50th test cap against Canada during the 2007 Rugby World Cup. He becomes only the second Australian prop to reach the milestone along with current NSW Waratahs coach Ewen McKenzie. Many leading rugby commentators believe Baxter was largely responsible for the disappointing scrum performances in Australia's World Cup campaign.
