Airola is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Benevento in the Italian region Campania, located about 35 km northeast of Naples and about 20 km southwest of Benevento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 7,770 and an area of 14.5 km².[1]
Airola borders the following municipalities: Arpaia, Bonea, Bucciano, Forchia, Moiano, Paolisi, Rotondi.
