Ōtsu (大津郡; -gun) was a district located in Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan. As of 2003, the district had an estimated population of 18,761. The total area was 205.49 km².
Until March 21, 2005, the district had three towns.
On March 22, 2005, all towns within the district merged with the city of Nagato to form the new city of Nagato. The district dissolved as a result.

- 1889町村制施行により、仙崎通、深川、三隅、俵山、菱海、宇津賀、向津具、日置の8村となる。
- April 1, 1899 仙崎通村大字通浦が仙崎通村から分離し、通村となる。残った仙崎通村大字瀬戸崎浦は仙崎村となる。
- April 15, 1914 仙崎村が町制施行し、仙崎町になる。
- November 1, 1928 深川村が町制施行し、深川町になる。
- November 3, 1942 The village of Misumi gained town status.
- March 31, 1954年 仙崎町、深川町、通村、俵山村が合併、市制施行し、長門市になる。
- May 1, 1954 菱海村、宇津賀村、向津具村、日置村(大字蔵小田の一部)が合併し、油谷町になる。
- April 1, 1978 The village of Heki gained town status.
- March 22, 2005 The city of Nagato and the towns of Heki, Misumi and Yuya merged to form the new city of Nagato.
Ōtsu District was dissolved as a result of this merger.
