Da kommt mir einiges spanisch vor. Chico und Chica sind keine Namen. Die Tabelle ist nicht Oma-geeignet. Männlich auf a ?? Juan, Enrique, Jose!! Das mit der Stiefmutter ist erklärungsbedürftig. Warum erhält ein Kind den Namen der Stiefmutter ? --82.82.105.207 09:13, 21. Sep 2005 (CEST)

Ich habe die Teile mal entfernt, da ersteres nicht zutrifft. Nicht der Sohn bekommt den Namen der Stiefmutter, sondern der Stiefsohn. So steht es ja auch dort geschrieben. --Freundlich 13:23, 21. Sep 2005 (CEST)

Erstens ist "vom Berg Karmel" keine deutsche Entsprechung und zweitens müsste ich mich schon sehr irren, wenn der Name Carmen nicht vom lateinischen carmen (=Lied, Gedicht) stammt. --Jazzman Kummerkasten 21:12, 17. Mai 2006 (CEST)

Ich bin Spanier, und ich finde dieser Artikel nicht gut informiert. Es tut mir Leid, aber mein Deutsch ist nicht so gut, deshalb schreibe ich jetzt in English.

1)Many of the names cited in the table are currently rare in Spain, but were common among our grandparents. From this table, it seems that most spanish people still decide the names of the children based on some kind of strong christian devotion. This might have been true many years ago, but it is not the case know. "Jesus" and "Cristo" are relatively rare in young people. "Maria", however, is still very common. Moreover, several traditional names are becoming again more fashionable. The increasing inmigration is now strongly changing the ranking of names among newborns. As a curiosity, "Alejandro" which is the most common name in Spain for children born after 2000, is rare among the sons of original spanish citizens, but very common among the sons of people coming from South-America. Nevertheless, if you aim to focus on the religious meaning of every spanish name (I don't find this particularly relevant, and I think that many spanish would agree with me), you'll find that most of the spanish names coincide with some saint, but not necessarily with "Jesus" (which is particularly rare, as is "Cristo") or with derivations from "Maria". Particularly in the south, and mostly for woman, some names of Muslim origin (Fátima, Azuzena, Zoraida, Soraya) are very common. Also names derived from Greek or Roman mythology (Irene, Helena, Silvia, Ares -curiosly for woman-, Laura) are rather common. The same stand for names from basque origin (Aitor, Ainhoa). Of course you would be able to find a cristian "saint" for almost all of them, but this would obviate their real origin.

The parents have the option to choose the order of the two first surnames to be passed to their children. This order should be kept for all the brothers. Howewer, after 18-years old, it is possible to change the order of your own surnames. Hola, escribo en español y alemán. Yo hice aquella vez la redacción de los nombres cristianos. Si dices, que ya no son muy comunes (lo que imho me da pena), sería quitar el adjetivo "sehr beliebt". Y pienso que tu información sobre influencia musulmana, griega y romanas y etc. merecerían tener su información en este articulo. Al igual pero creo, que esa tabla es interesante para los alemán hablantes, porque muchos nombres como Carmen, Pilar o Rocio se escucha (farandula ibero-americana) y hasta a veces se usa en la zona de habla alemana (como Carmen). Por eso no me parece falso de que haya una tabla tal en este articulo... pero con gusto se podría añadir otras tablas con nombres que tu has mencionado (Fatima, Soraya, Irene, Helena, etc.)Qowiboy 19:10, 28. Wenn Du meinst, diese sind nicht mehr üblich (was imho schade ist), sollte man vielleicht das "sehr beliebt" weg nehmen und Deine Information über islamischen, römischen und griechischen Einfluss (und weitere...) hinzufügen. Ich glaube aber diese jetztige Tabelle ist für deutschsprachige ebenfalls interessant, da viele Namen wie Carmen, Pilar oder Rocio in der Klatschpresse des Ibero-Amerikanoischen Raumes hört (also die etwas "ältere" Generation, sowie teilweise sogar genutzt werden (z.B. Carmen). Deshlab finde ich es nicht falsch, dass diese Tabelle hier ist, aber man könnte sie sicher ergänzen mit Information über die von Dir erwähnten Namen. Qowiboy 19:10, 28. Nov. 2006 (CET)
