Enya (born Eithne Patricia Ní Bhraonáin on 17 May 1961 in Gweedore, County Donegal, Ireland) is an Irish singer. She is famous for hits such as Orinoco Flow (1988) and Anywhere Is (1995). She has also won 4 Grammy Awards and has become one of the world's most successful female singers. Her vocal range is mezzo-soprano.
She was brought up with the Irish language, and did not have English until she attended primary school.
