Does there really need to be a Wikipedia article on this? Super Mario Bros. has an article, Duck Hunt has an article. Why can't in both articles it be mentioned that they were both on a 2-for-1 NES cartridge that came boxed with the system? As it is, this article is an orphan K1Bond007 20:14, Dec 23, 2004 (UTC)
Not all games should be cataloged, but this is an important piece of history in the Marioverse. --A Link to the Past 07:37, May 8, 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Name/Move

Talk: The title of the game given on the top of the cartridge is Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt.—thegreentrilby

The Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt cartridge

Why is the article name 2-in-1 Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt? I have the cartridge right next to me, and the only thing that can be drawn from it is Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt. Of course, I tend to be on the unpopular side of opinion, and someone's going to get mad at me and say, "Well, no one's complained about it before; why break precedent?"—thegreentrilby 17:50, 30 April 2006 (UTC)

I have uploaded a photo of the top of the actual cartridge, which shows the title of the game.—thegreentrilby 03:26, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Redirect?

I redirected this page to Nintendo_Entertainment_System#Bundle_packages based on input at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/3-in-1 Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt/World Class Track Meet. This was reverted because "The reason for redirecting 3-in-1 was lack of notability, while this cartridge is very well-known. There is a huge gap between them, and the same logic cannot be applied to both."

I disagree with that statement because the entire content of this article is duplicated in the NES article (as in the case of the 3-in-1). Additionally, this article, as it currently stands, has no indication that the 2-in-1 cartridge has any external coverage or societal impact that isn't already covered in the NES article and those of the individual games.

Does anyone else have any input to offer? — Scientizzle 23:43, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
