St. Lorenzen (German) or San Lorenzo di Sebato (Italian) is a comune (municipality) in Bolzano-Bozen in the Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 100 km northeast of Trento and about 50 km northeast of Bolzano. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,560 and an area of 51.5 km².[1]
The municipality of St. Lorenzen contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Elle (Ellen), Fassine, Campomolino, Ronchi, Mantana, Onies, Floronzo (Pflaurenz), Sares, Castelbadia (Sonnenburg), Sante Stefano, San Martino (St. Martin), and Palù.
St. Lorenzen borders the following municipalities: Bruneck, Kiens, Pfalzen, Lüsen, Mareo, and Rodeneck.
