[edit] History
Schenna (Scena) is most probably of Roman origin, as showed by the name, deriving from a Roman landowner called Sconius. In the 6th-7th century people began to arrive from Bavaria and Franconia.
In the Middle Ages it had an important castle. Archduke Johann of Austria acquired it in 1845.
