South Rhodes or Nótia Ródos (Νότια Ρόδος) is a municipality on the island of Rhodes, in the Dodecanese prefecture in southeastern Greece. The municipality comprises the southernmost portion of the island, and is a result of a union of ten former communities: Gennádi, Apolakkiá, Arnítha, Asklipieí, Váti, Ístrios, Kattavía, Lachaniá, Machairía, and Profília. As of the 2001 census, the population was 4,313. It has a land area of 379.050 km², covering about 27 percent of the island's area, and is by far the largest municipality in land area in the Dodecanese Prefecture. The seat of the municipality is in Gennádi, a town of 655 inhabitants.
