Dikaio

Dikaio (Δίκαιο) is a municipality on the island of Kos, in the Dodecanese prefecture of Greece. Population 6,094 (2001). The seat of the municipality is in Ziparion (pop. 2,355). The other large town is Pylion (pop. 2,431). The municipality, which comprises about one-fifth of the island's territory, has a land area of 62.575 km². It shares the island of Kos with the municipalities of Kos and Irakleides and is the middle municipality on the island geographically, and the smallest in both population and land area.
