Ryan Solle (born September 11, 1985 in Sanford, North Carolina) is a U.S. soccer midfielder who currently plays for the Carolina RailHawks in the USL First Division.

[edit] High school and college
Solle grew up in Sanford, North Carolina, playing on the Fayetteville Force youth club, with whom he won three consecutive North Carolina state championships (1999, 2000 and 2001). He also attended Lee County High School in Sanford, North Carolina, where he was selected as a 2003 Parade Magazine High School All American. Following his graduation from high school in 2003, Solle entered Wake Forest University. He played for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons men’s soccer team from 2003 to 2006. He finished second on the Wake Forest career assist list with twenty-seven in fifty games.

Solle played the 2005 and 2006 seasons with the Raleigh CASL Elite of the Premier Development League. The New England Revolution of Major League Soccer selected Solle in the second round (25th overall) of the 2007 MLS SuperDraft. Solle never entered a game with the first team and was released by the Revolution on August 31, 2007. In the spring of 2008, he signed with the Carolina RailHawks of the USL First Division. He gained his first game and his first start in the first RailHawks game of the 2008 season, a 1-1 tie with the Atlanta Silverbacks.[1]

In 2003, Solle played a single game with the U.S. U-18 team. In February 2007, he joined the United States under-23 men's national soccer team for a tour of Japan.[2]
