RED - An Artist Development Company (formely Relativity Entertainment Distribution) is a Sony BMG-owned sales and marketing division that handles releases for roughly 45 independent record labels. Successful RED acts include Los Lonely Boys, Matisyahu, Ingrid Michaelson, Elliott Yamin, Bullet For My Valentine, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Mark Ronson, Dwight Yoakam, Chiodos, Circa Survive, Drive-By Truckers, Radiohead, Jason Aldean, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Switchfoot, and Scary Kids Scaring Kids.

Founded in 1979 as mainly a hard rock music distributor called Important Record Distributors, which originally released Metallica's first two LPs in the US. It became RED Distribution by the '90s and changed to RED - An Artist Development Company in 2007.
