Pennsylvania Route 663 is a 22.6 mile long state highway in Bucks and Montgomery counties in southeast Pennsylvania. Its northern terminus is at Pennsylvania Route 309 and Pennsylvania Route 313 in Quakertown, where it continues eastward as PA 313, and its southern terminus is at Pennsylvania Route 100 in Pottstown. PA 663 is called John Fries Highway is some places. Along the way, PA 663 also passes through the town of Pennsburg. It also has its own interchange with the Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike at exit 44 west of Quakertown.

PA 663 begins as High Street in Pottstown at an intersection with Pennsylvania Route 100.[2] In Pottstown, PA 663 turns toward the north as Charlotte Street. 6 miles north of Pottstown in New Hanover Township, PA 663 has a concurrency with Pennsylvania Route 73 in the village of Layfield. North of PA 73, PA 663 runs towards the northeast and is called Layfield Road. In Upper Hanover Township, PA 663 crosses Green Lane Reservoir. In Pennsburg, PA 663 is called Pottstown Avenue and Quakertown Avenue, PA 663 also intersects Pennsylvania Route 29. Note that trucks are not allowed on PA 29 in Pennsburg.[2]

As PA 663 exits Montgomery County and enters Bucks County, PA 663 is called John Fries Highway and PA 663 becomes a high speed multilaned divided road.[2] In Milford Township, PA 663 interchanges Interstate 476 (Northeast Extension of the Pennsylvania Turnpike) at exit 44 the Quakertown exit. PA 663 continues as John Fries Highway meeting roads like Allentown Road and Bethlehem Pike before reaching its northern terminus. PA 663 reaches its northern terminus in Quakertown at an intersection with Pennsylvania Route 309 and continues as Pennsylvania Route 313.[2]
