Miguel Ángel Ferrer Martínez (born November 12, 1978 in Caravaca de la Cruz, Murcia) is a Spanish football player who plays as a forward. He is commonly referred to as Mista. He currently plays for Atlético Madrid and has previously played for Real Madrid B, CD Tenerife and Valencia CF. He made his debut for Spain in 2005.
Mista was a protégé of Rafael Benítez who first coached him at Real Madrid B. He also worked with Benítez at CD Tenerife and then Valencia CF. Mista, along with Curro Torres and Luis García, was a member of the CD Tenerife team that won promotion from Segunda División to La Liga in 2001. He subsequently signed for Valencia CF and was a member of the successful team that won La Liga twice and the UEFA Cup.
