Lugagnano Val d'Arda is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Piacenza in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 130 km northwest of Bologna and about 30 km southeast of Piacenza. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,247 and an area of 54.4 km².[1]
The municipality of Lugagnano Val d'Arda contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Antognano, Chiavenna, Diolo, Montezago, Prato Ottesola, Rustigazzo, Tabiano, Veleia, and Vicanino.
Lugagnano Val d'Arda borders the following municipalities: Carpaneto Piacentino, Castell'Arquato, Gropparello, Morfasso, Vernasca.
