Article overhaul

I was considering putting a request for this article to be deleted since it's just a repeat of what's in the actual game articles, but I think it has potential. The article needs something that the game articles don't. I think the most important thing is state how the series came to be and where it's going, similar to the main Final Fantasy article. Since it is in the FF template and it's a direct spin-off (unlike Seiken Densetsu), it might be appropriate it to include in Wikipedia:WikiProject Final Fantasy. If not, it can be a part of Wikipedia:WikiProject Computer and video games. ~ Hibana 03:09, 27 December 2005 (UTC)

I agree, It requires better information, right now it looks like(or is) a page full of rejected content from the KH1 and KH2 pages. (Linkspam, bad info, wordiness) It also currently a huge list, something belonging in a category page, not an article. Zero1328 04:09, 13 January 2006 (UTC)

Perhaps it could be modified to cover people, places, and items of significance throughout the Kingdom Hearts series? Explanations of what a Keyblade is, the common orrigins of the many worlds... Perhaps even a detailed (and long overdue, IMO) explanation of what Kingdom Hearts (the heart of all worlds, that is...) is and the philosophical concepts it decends from. --KefkaTheClown 21:43, 29 April 2006 (UTC)

I agreeing to what you are sayin guy(s). But for some reason, I feel that it's more of an ANIME. Why? Because anything that has a manga must also be an anime. Like Street Fighter, King of Fighters, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Final Fantasy, etc. Plus, the artwork of Sora, Riku, Kairi & other ppl that are not disney... Anime :) Here's a clever way to look at it... SPOILER WARNING: KH/KH2 for the PS2 is a game, but its colored and follows the same concept from those Anime Series like DBZ or whatever. The actions: aerial battle, dodges, summons, keyblade whipping out a beam of light in order to complete mission. Sounds like anime. The part where a manga comes in is where in the game its that grayscaled area where the two Pete's are, but that's only Sora for Manga. It's different with the Disney characters. Think about it... Plus, you got that GBA game... Think about the artworks and everything and who's in it. I gotta say... With all the skills Sora has learned... And still learning... With the new Drive Forms... And probably will get new Drive Forms... He fights alot more like a DBZ/FF or FF: Advent Children character.

No. Just because something is made in Japan doesn't make it anime. Anime is by definition animation (i.e. ink on cells or computer generated images meant to resemble the ink-on-cell style) that is meant to be viewed on television or in films -- not in games. Also, you seem to be confusing Japanese popular aesthetics with an entire medium of entertainment. Don't do that. Kakashi-sensei 07:09, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

Is there really alot of things that you can say about a Keyblade? Apart from, it's a huge key that locks "Invisble doors", destroys things that don't exsist and is wielded by some person with huge feet...? Also, what do you mean by the origins of the worlds? By philspoihcal (Why can't i spell?) do you mean the in-game explination of the <ominous voice> HEART OF ALL WORLDS? --Sin-fuelled.

Anyone else think the information that is not related to Kingdom Hearts 3 article should be deleted? The recurring themes, Gameplay and design are all from previous games and do not necessarily transfer over to Kingdom Hearts 3.

History

I distinctly remember there being something about Kingdom Hearts' origins in one of the interviews translated by Kingdom Hearts Ultimania. As soon as I can fact check and source it, I'll add it in. Cerealchan 01:20, 15 March 2006 (UTC)

yeah me too, something about disney and square on the same floor?fallen111

Movie?

Can anyone find a citation where it's hinted that the fourth installment is going to be a movie? I've never heard that. -Mance 04:49, 4 April 2006 (UTC)

It wouldn't make sense, because there's a HUGE backstory that most people wouldn't understand. Plus, the story is way too long for a motion picture.--BigMac1212 18:05, 6 May 2006 (UTC)
Yeah, it just sounds like a rumor to me. And even if it was true, fans would revolt. Pele Merengue 02:27, 8 May 2006 (UTC)

I removed the movie reference the link was over four years old and said the movie would come out next year (for that it would be 2003) unless FF* style time compression is in affect now then i say the link and sentence are useless.

Still worth mentioning. --Zeno McDohl 05:20, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, that's true. I'm still going to watch the movie. Yes, I know. I'm a nerd. --General456 19:52, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

There is not going to be a movie. User:THE BLOTCH 3:06, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

You never know THE BLOTCH. --General456 14:57, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

Actually Tetsuya Nomura said that there won't be a movie since Kingdom Hearts is too long to explain in a few hours. He also sdaid that if there is he would need to create a new storyline and he was too busy for that. 216.95.81.161 18:50, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

No movie, but there is supposed to be an anime. Roxyr All Hearsay! I want to see PROOF b4 anything is added, like an offical statement from Disney/Square-Enix or NomuraQuatreryukami 20:04, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

Nomura said if there was a possibility for a movie, he'd be interested in it.

I haven't herd anything about it but I do think that it could happen someday.Themasterofwiki 19:24, 12 February 2007 (UTC)

There is no confirmation for a movie from either Disney (though I wouldn't be surprised if they wanted one for the profit) or Square Enix, so I find a slight mention of one from four years ago that never came into being to be completely pointless. Blahmaster 00:19, 19 March 2007 (UTC)Blahmaster

FF Characters

Are the Final Fantasy Characters' appearances in the series Non-Canon? I mean,Sephiroth, Aerith, Auron, and Tidus died on their specific games (Tidus was a Fayth Dream). And why does Auron appear in the Underworld on KH2? Was he resurrected from his death on FFX? Or do they just say that he was slain by someone else? Remy

S... Squall didn't die... But to answer your question, no, the Final Fantasy characters, like the Disney characters, echo their game counterparts, but are not related to the actual characters and their adventures. As for Auron being dead... do you know what the Underworld is?--KefkaTheClown 15:17, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
Yes, I DO know what the Underworld is! But I was just asking if he ended up there because of his death on FFX? Or is that specific death ignored and was Auron slain by someone else? Remy
Of course the appearances are non-canon. What a stupid question. Pele Merengue 02:21, 8 May 2006 (UTC)
Ok then, answer this stupid question, smarty: If Auron appears in the Underworld because he was dead, why don't the other killed FF Characters? Remy
Let's chill out, guys. And to answer your Question, only Auron appears because he was the only one Hades needed for his plan; therefore, he was the only one Hades called up from the pit. Not to mention that he's the only major FF character who's death still stood in KH (notice Aerith and Tidus, for one).-Mance 18:34, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
The fact of the matter is, it's a video game based on cameo appearances. I didn't mean to be rude, but much of the reason why the game exists is to appeal as sort of a rebirth or an advertisement for both the Final Fantasy and Disney franchises. Thinking that the characters' appearances in the game were part of the FF canon would be somewhat illogical considering that the storylines of almost all of the Final Fantasy games are meant to be separate from one another in the first place. I don't want to get too geeked out on the subject, but in short, I think it's safe to assume that the Kingdom Hearts universe, the Final Fantasy universe and the Disney universe are all separate from each other. Pele Merengue 14:20, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
Tidus never really died, he was a dream, and when the fayth(who was 'dreaming' him) awoke, he disappeared like all dreams do, they are shoved to the back corners of the mind. Auron was dead before the events of FFX. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.54.234.112 (talk) 18:39, 28 January 2007 (UTC).

On a more-or-less related note... someone put down that Squall's name was changed to Leon for the KH series. While this might seem like the case, in several places in-game (though typically in the Journal), it is shown that Leon is only an assumed name. Not sure how to phrase a correction, so I'm just bringing it up. T.J. Fuller, Jr. 16:36, 5 March 2007 (UTC)

Squall calls himself Leon in the Kingdom Hearts series because he fled his world when the heartless came. I believe he's ashamed of his past. Blahmaster 00:19, 19 March 2007 (UTC)Blahmaster

Sora, Riku, Kairi, and the other new characters

Does Square-Enix or Disney owns the rights for the new characters? I know the movie characters are Disney property, and the Final Fantasy characters are Square-Enix owned. The others have me stumped.--BigMac1212 17:58, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

I'm fairly certain that they're Disney-owned. Pele Merengue 02:25, 8 May 2006 (UTC)

Read Zeno McDohls post Soccerguy Quatreryukami 19:58, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

Are you sure that the information above is correct? I have found contradicting information. According to [1] [2]: © Disney Enterprises, Inc. Developed by SQUARE ENIX, with no mention of any characters. According to [3]: © Disney Enterprises, Inc. Developed by SQUARE ENIX/Jupiter © Touchstone Pictures (Touchstone Pictures is a subsidiary to Disney). According to [4]: © Disney Enterprises, Inc. Developed by SQUARESOFT. The Japanese comic trade paperbacks contain "© Disney" (KH1, published by Enterbrain), "© Disney Enterprises, Inc. Video Games Developed by SQUARE ENIX/Jupiter" (KHCoM, published by Square Enix, what's "Jupiter" BTW?) and "© Disney Enterprises, Inc. Developed by SQUARE ENIX" (KH2 and KH1 Final Mix, published by Square Enix).
Square Enix's North American websites provide more detailed, but partially contradicting, information to the one provided by Square Enix's Japanese websites:
According to [5]:
© 2002 Disney. Tarzan™ Owned by Edgar Rice Burroughs, Inc. and Used by Permission. Copyright(c) 2002 Edgar Rice Burroughs, Inc. and Disney Enterprises, Inc. Al Rights Reserved.
Developed by SQUARESOFT.
© 2002 SQUARE CO., LTD. All Rights Reserved. Character designs: ©1990, 1997, 1999, 2001 Square Co., Ltd. All Rights Reserved. The SQUARESOFT logo is a registered trademark of Square Co., Ltd.
"PlayStation" and the "PS" Family logo are registered trademarks of SONY Computer Entertainment Inc.
The ratings icon is a trademark of the Interactive Digital Software Association.
Note how the game is © both companies in 2002 (= the year when the game was published), but that character designs are © Square only in earlier years. Note that Final Fantasy games were published during all of the mentioned years (1990 = FF3, 1997 = FF7, 1999 = FF8, 2001 = FF10), so the © about character designs refers not to the character designs in KH, but to the character designs in the FF games, and it's not surprising that Square Enix owns the FF characters. The only contradicting thing here is that Square co-owns the game (the Japanese site says that it's fully owned by Disney).
According to [6]:
© Disney. Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas © Touchstone Pictures. Developed by SQUARE ENIX. Characters from FINAL FANTASY video game series: © 1990, 1997, 1999, 2001 Square Enix Co., Ltd. All Rights Reserved. SQUARE ENIX and the SQUARE ENIX logo are trademarks of Square Enix Co., Ltd. TM, ® and and the Game Boy Advance logo are trademarks of Nintendo. © 2001 Nintendo. The ratings icon is a trademark of the Entertainment Software Association.
Here nothing contradicts with to the Japanese site: Disney owns the game, Disney's subsidiary Touchstone Pictures owns its movie, and Square Enix owns only its name, logo and FF characters.
According to [7]:
© Disney Enterprises, Inc.
Developed by SQUARE ENIX.
© Disney. Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas © Touchstone Pictures. Developed by SQUARE ENIX. Characters from FINAL FANTASY video game series: © 1990, 1997, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2005 Square Enix Co., Ltd. All Rights Reserved. SQUARE ENIX and the SQUARE ENIX logo are trademarks of Square Enix Co., Ltd.
Again it says that Square Enix owns only its name, logo and FF characters, while Disney owns everything else.
All of the sources I've found are official (from Square Enix), except for the KH1 trade paperback comic (from Enterbrain), and all except the US KH1 video game website state that Disney, and only Disney, owns the games, and everything related to them, except for Square Enix's FF characters. The FF characters don't include Sora, Riku, Kairi and co., so the © notices on all of those websites state that Sora, Riku, Kairi and co. belong to Disney. The US KH1 website state that the game is co-owned, i.e. that Sora, Riku, Kairi and co. are co-owned by Disney and Square Enix. Since the sources are official, the information is likely to be accurate, meaning that Disney either owns or co-owns Sora, Riku, Kairi and co.
Where does Zeno McDohl's information come from? If it's from an unofficial publication (such as a game magazine), it could mean that someone misinterpretated the original text and slightly edited it. (Stefan2 12:36, 28 December 2006 (UTC))

Disney owns all of the KH-specific characters, but I think Square can still make and liscence Sora, Kairi, Riku, Roxas, etc merchandise, but that power is most likely limited.

Exactly. However, Nomura wishes he DID have copyright access to Sora, considering that's one of his favorite characters he's ever done.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by StealthsneakII (talkcontribs) 14:17, 4 February 2007.

See this[8] for where I got it from. --Zeno McDohl (talk) 01:44, 29 December 2006 (UTC)
Mention the specific copyrights (ie. Peter Pan, Tarzan, Nightmare Before Christmas, etc.) does not constitute that Disney owns "everything." They have to do that because seperate entities own those copyrights. Yes, Touchtone owns Nightmare Before Christmas, but they have to give credit where the copyright is given. I really doubt Disney owns the rights to the characters. I worked for Disney, and never saw anything KH related in merchandising or even advertising around the property. Movie news?

Anyone know whatever happened to the Kingdom Hearts movie? [9] Maybe it's worth a mention? --Zeno McDohl 01:24, 17 May 2006 (UTC)

It's probably a lie, since it states that it's supposed to release "next year". The article is also still calling SquareEnix "SquareSoft", so it had to have been written sometime in 2002 at the latest. They did release a manga series, though. --Anonymous

However, this hint was made last year. It wasn't a complete confirmation, but it was a hint. [10]

It's probably best that we don't mention it. Well...not until we have proper confirmation of one. I'm sure i heard somewhere that the creator said that it would be too hard to simplify the story line, if i find the quote i'll out it down. --Sin-fuelled.

Well, Nomura said there are multiple KH projects in the works, TBA 2007, on multiple media platforms. -- TruthTakesTime47

yeah doesnt mean its a movie and/or anime more than likely KH3 and and another game to bridge the gap between KH2 and KH3 like COM did for KH1 and KH2 -- Quinnzo

I herd a few rumors there was going to be an Anime, it may not be true but they DID come out with a magna so if they could strech the story line out enough for that, why not an anime? Of corse it's a rumor, but it's worth mentioning.--Kimitala

Kingdom Hearts on the PSP

No, this isn't something I heard somewhere on the internet, but does anyone know if SquareEnix will release a KH game for the PSP? They kind of killed their first chance at a portable KH game by making a card battle game for the Game Boy.... --Sasuke-kun27 18:47, 11 July 2006 (UTC)

Actually, I don't think so; I remember reading something that SquareEnix made a deal so that all hand-held Final Fantasy stuff would be done through Nintendo; if they did a KH game on the PSP, they'd have to cut out the final fantasy characters. It may have been more than just FF games; it could have been a universal agreement that all SquareEnix handhelds would be with Nintendo. I can't remember where I read that, though, so it could easily be false.. -Mance 10:07, 12 July 2006 (UTC)

If we could change the subject a bit, I'd like to talk about Kingdom Hearts 3. I've heard rumors that, if they do make a Kingdom Hearts 3, it wouldn't be a "sequal", but instead a new adventure all together. If its true, it is also stated that the game won't be released for few more years. Do you guys know anything about this? --Sasuke-kun27 16:06, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

Nobody knows anything its just speculation over the secret ending of KH2. I still think the characters'll be in it considering they're keyblades are in it and considering it mentions 'birth by sleep' which could be referencing Namine and how she restored his memories while he was asleep.

Disney Adventures mag quotes Nomura as saying something to the effect of "never say never" to a PSP KH (in very different words). Also, the statement that they can't put FF characters on PSP is incorrect, considering that FF: Crisis Core is an FF game. --TruthTakesTime47

Manga?

Maybe we could do an article about the manga (like the LoZ manga??? (I have KH Vol.1, Vol.2 and KHCoM Vol.1 --Zeldamaster3 10:51, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

I wouldn't. First, because they would follow the plot of the games very closely so it would be redundant to the story section on this article. Second, the few changes that were added would be considered non-canon. And the Legend of Zelda manga article doesn't look to good either. Axem Titanium 14:41, 9 September 2006 (UTC)

Final Fantasy worlds

In the article, it states:

In addition, none of the Final Fantasy worlds are present in the series (and will never appear according to Nomura himself).

I know that this was confirmed in an interview with Nomura, but does anyone know where that interview is? Many people insist that FF worlds are a possibility, so I believe that a link to that interview may clear things up. NeoSeifer

I remember reading that interview but I can't seem to find the link at the moment. I'll keep looking. Axem Titanium 02:37, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

The cutscenes do prove it. (Noteable ones: Endings, Halloween Town Final Visit, KH2)

It doesn't matter if the point of the games were to "save the world". Toajaller3146 03:17, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

You're still drawing your own conclusions. For the love of God, read up on Wikipedia policies, especially WP:NOR and WP:V. Regardless, this isn't a Geocities fansite for you to gossip "didja know sora liek kairi lol?" We need prose that's a bit higher than that. ' (Feeling chatty? ) (Edits!) 05:13, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
Seriously, this page isn't for speculation for fandom, it's for giving information directly implied by the game. And even if there is romance, this isn't the place to add it. Lionheart08 20:58, 24 January 2007 (UTC)

You both have a point. And There are multiple places on Wikipedia where speculation has been put in when there is much evidence in the game. One example I have watched transpire occurs in the Legend of Zelda Characters page. Therewas a long argument about whether one character was based off of another, if that base character was based off of someone else, and all this mess. Finally, they put in that there was information within the games and much fan speculation that the specific character was based off of another in another game. I would love to see that not happen here, so I suggest(as a newbie, though I've read the two articles you mentioned)that we put in the article "That there is sufficient evidence within the cutscenes of KH1 and KH2 to suggest a romance between Sora and Kairi, and it has been suggested in many fanfictions." or something to that effect. However, I would put it in KH2's article, because there is more evidence in that game then the other two, where Sora only recognizes Kairi as an extremely good friend, tantamount to Riku.--A.Vestors- Power is not Knowlege. 22:37, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

I disagree. The actual time that Sora and Kairi spend together is very short in KH1 and KH2. KH1's beginning and ending show them as close friends with the "romantic" actions being a hug or 2 after being finally reunited, and KH2 shows them interacting "romantically" even less. And based on KH2's ending and suggested in many "fanfictions", you could say that possibly Riku and Sora are romantically involved since Sora cries when he finds Riku and then they have that talk on the beach. And by this, I'm saying than fan fiction is a horrible source of evidence and that cutscene actions are mere speculation unless there's actually a kiss or something involved. Falmil 16:03, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

Okay we're going in complete circles with this discussions. Whether or not Sora and Kairi 'love' each other is irrevelant on this page because this page is about the game itself. The whole arguement over whether there are scenes showing that there is mutual interest between Sora and Kairi is pointless. Remember, this is an online encyclopedia, unless there is official information from a source (ie., interviewes, game manual, exc.) then the information is no more than a matter of opinion. That's why cititations are used, to prove there is background to said facts. Just by saying "LOOK AT THE EVIDENCE, I'M RIGHT YOUR WRONG" proves absolutely nothing because just as easily as you can say there is romance I can say there isn't, and unless you have any valid OFFICIAl information to prove yourself right we can not add it. Lionheart08 20:41, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

I would say there is some implication of romance in the game, but I feel the game leaves it for the player to make their own conclusions. Sora wanted to share a Papou fruit with Kairi, which is said to link their destiny's forever. This could either be interpreted as a romance, or as eternally friends. I suppose it depends on the players interpretation. Although, there are other occurances of romantic suggestion, for instance when Kairi gives Sora the Oathkeeper charm/keychain, its almost like the romantic notion of "you can keep this until you return, for luck" sorta notion, which wives during wars would sometimes do for their husbands before they set off for battle. I certainly think, that few years down the line though, Kairi and Sora would become Girl-Friend and Boy-Friend, theyre already close enough as friends to be confused with girlfriend and boyfriend relationships, and I doubt Sora has much other girls on the Island to choose from. Card Game

Its been a while since the TCG came out is it possible that we could add an article for it, I can provide scans and lots of info. I just thought it would be good to add since theres not even a hint of it anywhere on Wikipedia. If this is a decent idea tell me ill get to work on it right away. Sora3087 06:27, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

I've never heard of a card game, but if you can then yeah it sounds like a good idea Quinnzo 12:41, 03 Febuary 2007 (GMT)

Although not surprising its still funny that people haven't heard much about it. Currently there are 7 sets ranging from Chain of Memories to KH2 and 2 promo sets. I guess ill work on the page soon. Sora3087 09:35, 15 February 2007 (UTC)

Next Game

I just now noticed that the article still says that it's unknown if there will be another game, but it has been confirmed. So somebody needs to remove that from the article.--Emokid200618 16:45, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

I suppose you have sources to back your assertion. ' (Feeling chatty? ) (Edits!) 21:26, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
All Nomura said was that he was "doing a lot with Kingdom Hearts in 2007". That doesn't explicitly mean a video game—look at the COMPILATION of FINAL FANTASY VII, it's got an OVA and movie.—ウルタプ 21:32, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
Indeed. The products could be Roxas pants or Aerial Blade scissors for all we know. It's not our place to assume for Nomura what he's going to make. ' (Feeling chatty? ) (Edits!) 21:45, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

He said that we should be expecting news of new projects in 2007, I doubt that toys or anything would be considered projects, but you're right it doesn't necessarily mean a game. I do think that it's worth noting though.--Emokid200618 22:32, 6 February 2007 (UTC)

It is. Read the introduction. ' (Feeling chatty? ) (Edits!) 02:14, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
Oh I didn't notice that, thanks for pointing that out.--Emokid200618 23:11, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

Heads up

Heartless War has been created. It's now a redirect on speedy delete. Battle of Hollow Bastion has been created; it's on AfD now. Feel free to toss in your opinion. Also, the same user who made the battle article keeps adding OR in Heartless; keep a watch on that. ' (Feeling chatty? ) (Edits!) 13:48, 13 February 2007 (UTC)

future kingdom hearts games

will they remain exclusive on playstation 2 or playstation 3?--Falcon866 20:48, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Firstly, this doesn't really belong on the talk page. Talk pages on Wikipedia are for discussions regarding changes to the article. Secondly, we don't know that there will even be any more games in the series for sure yet, as stated here, so there's no way of telling what console they'll be for. Recent Nomura Interview

I think that it should be mentioned that in a recent interview that Nomura is planning on not directing anymore Final Fantasy games so that he can focus on Kingdom Hearts, but I don't know where that would go, what do you guys think?--Emokid200618 22:29, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

What interview are you talking about? Is there a new one out there or was it the one from 2006?

RPGamer I suggest removing the sentence "It is not known if there will be a next installment" from the article, since this new interview confirms that there will be at least one new installment in the KH series. Kariteh 15:23, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
Exactly, the only thing is that I don't know where it would fit in with the article that he's going to quit with Final Fantasy to work only on Kingdom Hearts.--Emokid200618 20:48, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

Ban on Editing

Considering that the causers of this ban have yet to give a legit arguement of their side (and have now all together stop responding), shouldn't the ban be lifted? Lionheart08 23:33, 28 February 2007 (UTC)

nintendo

Nintendo Power staff seems to love KH, and they are official nintendo employees. This was admitted in a recent issue. They said they haven't heard anything- Possibly put this as a little note? They haven't heard anything about what? If you mean Mushroom Kingdom Hearts, it's EGM's Aprils Fools joke. >>—ウルタプ 02:12, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

Sorry. A new game. 04:38, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

I think I'll add that Nintendo seems to favor KH...Can i have some fishy crackers? 20:36, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

Some guy who writes for Nintendo Power is not Nintendo itself. I suspect you're also taking a one-off comment way out of context. ' 21:00, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

Nintendo Power writers are Nintendo staff. And it seems to be most/all of the NP staff.. Can i have some fishy crackers? 21:31, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

They're not a significant part of the company. They don't develop games. They don't control finances. They don't direct policy. All they do is write a shoddy magazine for a foreign market. It's akin to saying that the United States government disagrees with the Iraqi occupation because some postal workers do. Please stop overexaggerating the importance of minor things.
I'm still thinking you're taking this out of proportion even in the context of "Nintendo Power staff". ' 21:38, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

Rewriting

Alright, I've revised the "Games" section, but I'm still leery of the "Upcoming installments" section. I'd like input on how to tackle the rest of the article, especially the "History" and "Reaction" sections. Somebody else will have to do the "Music" section, as I have no interest in it for obvious reasons. ' 04:56, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

Well, from the current version of "History," it all seems like just a whole bunch of unsourced material; it's very skeptical to me (especially with how it's told to first happen in an elevator). I think it should be removed entirely, unless if it is sourced (I doubt it), or replaced with info from an interview with Shinji Hashimoto about its concept and/or first beginnings. Kingdom Hearts 3

I know its too early for there to be a page about KH3, but there is one relevant newly released piece of inforamtion, a tralier for KH3 released with KH2:Final Mix Just thought I would post it here until someone find a better place for it.

IT'S NOT A TRAILER FOR KHIII ARGH. All indications are that it's a prequel or a spin-off. ' 19:36, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
What indications? LikuX 00:38, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
Errr...the point is, don't speculate about it. :(—ウルタプ 00:39, 7 April 2007 (UTC)
Also even if it is a prequel, it will still probably be KHIII. its not exactly uncommon to have later games in a series as prequels. Devil May Cry 3 is a prequel to Devil May Cry 1 for example. Mloren 03:02, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
It's been stated that the new KH project isn't a "numbered" sequel.—ウルタプ 03:26, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

Well, it's not KH3 per se, but the ending does foreshadow the next KH game. ChromeWulf ZX 01:57, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

Who keeps editing the Upcoming Installments section? Every time I'm about to change something on there, it's already changed. P.S. - That isn't Roxas in the trailer. P.P.S. - The manga adaptation section needs help, or should we make it part of an Adaptations or Other Mediums section? Winslo2260 01:46, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

It's kinda hard to pinpoint your edits if all we have are IP addresses. ' 02:12, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

the hundreds of redirect pages

searching for kingdom hearts 2, there are pages of redirects, do we really need to have all of these? --Cody6 22:16, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

The reason for redirect pages is for the people searching for the article; there are alot of variations on how one might type it in. Not only are the article names case sensitive, but there's also stuff like acronyms and minor spelling differences. It's the same for all articles. Also, many redirects are old articles merged or about to be deleted, and simply changed into redirects, too. - Zero1328 Talk? 00:50, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
Probably talking about all the "Kingdom Hearts III" redirects, which I mostly created to put on my watchlist and make sure nobody tries to make an article on it. ' 02:23, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
