Frontside is a Polish metalcore/deathcore band playing in both English and Polish. The band was established about 1993 in Sosnowiec city in Poland by Astek and Demon. Early Frontside productions were energetic hardcore songs with strong influences of many other genres, such as Hip-Hop. Often compositions included Rap vocals, samples and scratching. Those musical experiments slowly died out(last heard on Our Is Kingdom... in 2001) replaced by aggressive Thrash and Death metal riffs and more extreme vocals. Between 2003 and 2004 year Auman from Totem, polish Thrash Metal band, was accepted as a new vocalist of Frontside when Astek left, and Daron became new guitarist after Simon. Together they brought Frontside music to extreme, mixing grinding Death riffs and monsterous growling with catchy melodies accompanning clear singing. Their songs were able to attract metalheads, as well as hardcore fans or lovers. Although, on their last album, Absolutus, they extended almost only melodic, pleasant part of their creativity, without losing outstanding level. No matter what style Frontside is into at the moment, it's a volcano that will never cool down.
