Coggiola is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Biella in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 80 km northeast of Turin and about 15 km northeast of Biella. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,285 and an area of 23.7 km².[1]
The municipality of Coggiola contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Villa Sopra, Villa Sotto, Formantero, Ponte S.Giovanni, Vico, Zuccaro, Castello, Camplin, Viera, Rivò, Biolla, Viera Superiore, Casa Chieti, Piletta, and Fervazzo.
