Cerrione is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Biella in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 50 km northeast of Turin and about 11 km south of Biella. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,818 and an area of 27.9 km².[1]
The municipality of Cerrione contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Magnonevolo and Vergnasco.
Cerrione borders the following municipalities: Borriana, Magnano, Roppolo, Salussola, Sandigliano, Verrone, Zimone, Zubiena.
